  3. No, not available to the public unfortunately. It includes electrical and I don’t want to give advice since I am not an electrician!

  5. curious about the vent hood. was it SS and you painted it? did you order it in that color? I love it. I really dislike the chimney style vent hoods, but I love how you did yours to match the cabinets. Just wondered how you did it!

  6. I kept the range hood we had from the old kitchen. It was stainless steel. Then I framed it out and covered it. I don’t share the tutorial due to there being some electrical/code involved but I found Pinterest really helpful to see how others framed their out! It’s also important to ensure that it is high enough above the range when you take into consideration the material you’re covering it with! I used a really good primer and then painted it with a pearl finish sheen which is as close as I could get to the finish of my cabinet doors.

  9. Hey Laura, I used the hood left from our old kitchen and created a custom cover for it. I framed it out with wood and covered it! We tried to keep this reno as budget-friendly as possible, and these can be pretty pricey to have custom-made!
