I thought it would be fun to take you through the I thought it would be fun to take you through the entire journey of this space, from unused attic, to a room I tried to love, to the cozy, whimsical playroom it is now. It took a few tries (and a lot of DIYs), but I’m so glad I didn’t settle. This version feels like us. Light, playful, and filled with special little details like wallpaper, handmade hot air balloons, pleated lampshades, and more. #ad✨This room has come such a long way, and the #ad✨This room has come such a long way, and the finishing touch was the wallpaper and fabrics I found on @spoonflower. I used their peel and stick wallpaper in the reading nook and ordered the same design on cotton fabric to make a pleated lampshade. I chose some other fabrics to make pillows, curtains, and even cover a little ottoman. 
It was so nice to be able to use the same pattern for wallpaper and fabric to make the space cohesive, and pick a few other patterns for more finishing touches. It all came together exactly how I imagined.
