Simple Brownies

As per request, here is a delicious brownie recipe!

I only made them a few days ago and they’re almost all gone.

Very easy and tasty recipe from Hearts In My Oven.

2 cups for granulated sugar

1 cup of vegetable oil

4 eggs

1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour

10 tablespoons of cocoa*

1 teaspoon of salt

1 tablespoon of vanilla

1/3 cup of chocolate chips (optional)

*the same as 1/2 cup plus 1/8 cup

Preheat the oven to 350°F

In a large bowl, mix together sugar, oil, vanilla, and eggs.

In a medium bowl, sift the flour, cocoa and salt and then mix together.

Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, little by little.

Mix in the chocolate chips (optional)

Line a 9 by 13 inch pan with parchment paper, and transfer the batter into the

Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Mine were a little gooey still after 25 minutes

Once the brownies are cooked, and a skewer comes out clean (or
almost clean), turn the oven heat off, and leave the brownies in for another
5-10 minutes.

Cool on a rack, and cut into squares once cool.

This should make the perfect brownies – not too gooey and not too dry.

I sprinkled mine with a little bit of icing sugar for decoration.

Print the recipe card here and enjoy!

I love brownies and all other desserts a lot but don’t know cooking at all. Was about to join cooking classes but my friend suggested Nom Photo Sharing app where people share easy recipes. Truly liked this platform because it has live video sharing feature too that makes leaning cooking quite easier.
